Computer technology

• Software (phần mềm)
• Hardware (phần cứng): CPU (central processing unit), graphic card (thẻ đồ họa), RAM (random access memory), disc drive (ổ đĩa), motherboard (bảng mạch chính), keyboard (bàn phím), monitor (màn hình)
• Peripheral devices (thiết bị ngoaị vi) : loud speaker (loa), keyboard, monitor, portable hard drive (ổ cứng di động), printer, scanner, mouse, earphones, headphones, USB = memory stick…

Computer’s problems:

• the computer crashes (máy tính treo)
• suffer virus infection/ is infected with virus (nhiễm virut)
• hardware failure/malfunction (hỏng phần cứng/phần mềm)

• do word processing (đánh máy)
• burn a disk (chép đĩa)
• install a software (cài đặt phần mềm) 
• troubleshoot a problem (giải quyết 1 vấn đề kĩ thuật)
• install a printer’s driver (cài đặt phần mềm cho máy in)
• set up a password (thiết lập mật khẩu)
